  • Liaise with clients, executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC
  • Maintain accurate records and time recording using case management software
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures
  • Support the wider Private Client team with trust and estate administration tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • CILEx Level 3 or equivalent legal training or proven experience
  • Experience managing probate matters independently
  • Strong understanding of estate administration and IHT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good telephone manner, and high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience using Isokon software preferred but not essential
  • A committed career paralegal/legal assistant who values technical excellence and client care
  • Confident in managing probate matters
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to best practice and development of the service across the firm
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Additional tax knowledge of estate administration matters (eg income tax etc) would be beneficial but is not critical to the role and additional support could be provided to develop this.
