We’re looking for a talented Audit Executive who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to tackle complex challenges. At MHA, you’ll be surrounded by passionate professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. Your work in Audit will go beyond the numbers – it’s about building meaningful client relationships, understanding their businesses, navigating risks, and delivering insights that drive real results.
- To prepare assignments to strict deadlines (accounts, tax, briefing notes), reporting either directly to director/partner or on more complex assignments to senior manager.
- To liaise with the director/partner or manager to organise assignments (book with clients and organise staff).
- To use allocated staff and provide appropriate supervision.
- To liaise in particular with relevant departments to make sure compliance work is planned at the right time.
- Collate project raw data and summarise into suitable format for review (e.g. first draft projections/reports).
Qualifications and Skills
- ACA or ACCA, fully qualified with practice experience
- 3+ years of audit experience
- Good accounts preparation skills
- Excellent audit analysis skills
- Familiarity with IFRS is essential
- Competent planning and completion skills
- Computer literate - good Excel and Word experience.
- CaseWare (accounts and audit) experience would be useful.
- Previous experience of mentoring junior members of staff
- Good up-to-date technical knowledge including recent developments in accounting standards
