MHA's Capital Allowances team is new and expanding. The team is made up of tax advisers and chartered surveying specialists delivering expert advice to a wide array of clients across many sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone to join and take ownership of their career direction.

 

You will be:

  • Working alongside client engagement teams both in London and national offices to assist with the preparation of claims, elections and providing technical advice to clients.
  • Preparing detailed capital allowances claims for submission to HMRC alongside the relevant tax computations.
  • Working with national colleagues to establish a strong network of internal referrals and business development opportunities.
  • Managing business development opportunities and assisting in the preparation of proposals to prospective clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical queries from other parts of the firm.

 

 

What We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a professional qualification CTA/MRICS.
  • Has 3 years post qualification experience in Capital Allowances.
  • Is experienced in undertaking both development and acquisition claims, and a strong understanding of the tax legislation and case law.
  • Shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work.
  • Has an ability to build lasting relationships and networks, both across the firm and clients.
  • Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information.
