We’re looking for a talented Corporate Finance Executive who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to implement change and tackle complex challenges. Your work in Corporate Finance will go beyond numbers – it’s about understanding our business, building meaningful relationships within the firm, and delivering insights that drive real improvements. The role will include:
- Financial analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis, including but not limited to; preparing financial databooks from historical management accounts (i.e., EBITDA, Working Capital, Net Debt adjustments etc.)
- Valuations: Able to prepare valuation databooks and a draft valuation report.
- Documentation production: Take ownership of the drafting of deal related documentation with guidance from senior staff (Information Memorandum, Teaser, Management Presentations etc.)
- Transaction management: Take a hands on and proactive approach to the delivery of transactions.
- Due diligence: Proactively coordinate due diligence streams (financial, legal, commercial etc.) in an organised manner with the support of senior staff to identify potential deal specific risks and opportunities.
- Deal origination and pitches: Work with members of the business development team to assist in identifying companies and industries with potential disposal / fundraise mandates and assist Partners in the production of pitch documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with 1-year post qualification Corporate Finance experience being highly desirable
- Financial analysis: Expertise in preparing databooks and interrogating client source financial data
- Valuation methodologies: Core understanding of various valuation methodologies including market income, and cost approaches
- Financial modelling: Experience in building financial models is useful
- Project management: Understanding of an M&A process to competently support senior team members, including coordinating diligence streams and ensuring timely and successful transaction completion
- Market research: Strong skills in conducting market research and analysis to identify potential acquirers, key market trends, and comparable company / transactions multiples.
- Software usage: Proficient within Microsoft applications, specifically Excel (ability to present financial analysis in an easy-to-follow manner is imperative
