We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Manager to lead national marketing initiatives across our core service lines: Private Client Tax, Entrepreneurial Business and Wealth Management.

Based in London, or potentially Milton Keynes, the successful candidate will collaborate with senior partners and key stakeholders across the business on high-profile national and international campaigns, delivering strategic plans to drive business growth, while drawing on the expertise of our specialist partners to deepen their knowledge and understanding of these services.

This role requires proven, hands-on experience in professional services marketing, with the ability to develop and execute marketing and business development plans, build strong relationships at all levels, and provide regular reporting on progress and results.

As a key member of the national marketing team, they will draw on firm-wide expertise to deliver impactful campaigns, bringing a collaborative, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude, along with the ideas, support and leadership needed to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
-
- Work closely with partners to develop, implement and deliver on comprehensive annual marketing and business development plans tailored to the core service lines, taking responsibility for achieving desired goals.
- Lead the creation and execution of multichannel campaigns, including events, email marketing, PR, social media and digital aspects.
- Write and edit engaging content relevant to our target market, including articles, social media posts, and thought leadership pieces, as well as internal communications.
- Drive engagement and lead generation efforts to align with business growth objectives, strategically integrating prospect targeting, while actively researching opportunities to engage suitable potential clients and maintain a strong pipeline of pending opportunities.
- Champion innovative campaigns, tailored to the needs of clients, contacts and prospects, ensuring a clear purpose, target audience and budget.
- Manage the end to end delivery of client facing events, ensuring strong attendance, engagement and follow up.
- Identify and build relationships with tax specialists, legal professionals, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to elevate the firm's visibility and expand its network by actively engaging with industry agencies, securing speaker or collaboration opportunities, and conducting follow-up activities as needed to promote our firm and support business development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategy and tactics, with a focus on setting the pace in the industry rather than simply following competitors' initiatives.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing, digital and BD team to leverage firm-wide resources, support cross-functional initiatives, share best practice, gain specialist input into campaigns and to utilise campaign resources developed in other business areas where appropriate.
- Act as a proactive member of the central marketing team, contributing ideas, support, and leadership as needed.
- Deliver regular reports on progress, achievements, and key metrics related to sector-specific marketing and business development efforts, including statistics on marketing activity undertaken, leads generated and any insights from competitor research, for the senior tax partners and the marketing management team.
- Educational qualifications:
A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or a recognised professional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM).

Must Have:

- 8+ years’ experience in a Marketing or Business Development role, ideally within a professional services environment
- Experience developing and executing marketing and BD plans with clear ROI
- Ability to build strong relationships at a senior level and provide valuable input into marketing strategy
- A strategic mindset and hands on experience across the marketing mix, including events, campaigns, social media and PR
- Ability to prioritise effectively, work well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Ability to work quickly and on multiple jobs at the same time
- A ‘can do’, positive attitude and a proactive, ‘hands on’ approach

- Excellent presentation skills with a good grasp of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
