Corporate Tax is about helping businesses understand and manage their tax responsibilities while navigating an increasingly complex and changing tax environment.You’llwork with a variety of organisations, from growing owner-managed businesses to larger companies and international groups, building relationships with clients and developing an understanding of how their businessesoperate. From an early stage, you’ll support work such as preparing corporate tax computations and returns, researching tax legislation and helping ensure clients meet their compliance obligations, while as your experience develops youwillgain exposure to more advisory work around areas such as business transactions, restructuring and international activity.It’sa careerthat combines technical knowledge with commercial awareness, problem solving and working with people. As a Corporate Tax Associate,you'llhelp businesses navigate their corporate tax obligations, providing technical support and practical advice to a range of clients.Here'swhatyou'llbe doing:   

 

  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns   

  • Conducting technical tax research and analysing legislation   

  • Advising clients on corporate tax compliance and planning matters   

  • Supporting tax advisory projects and transactions   

  • Liaising and negotiating with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)   

  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service   

  • Studying towards your professional qualification(ATT Level 5 and CTA Level 7)
